Frank Collective

About Us

Established in early 2011, Frank Collective is a merging of an agency and a production company. This means we are capable of creating a concept (or taking an existing concept) and carrying it through production to launch. The “collective” we draw from is a group of lovely, talented, funny, creative and production people we have on staff or have worked with before and trust to execute a project with passion, insight and creativity. What that means for our clients is we always have the right team of dedicated players for the right job.

WHO WE ARE

  • jiffy_profile_01

    Jiffy Iuen

    Founder

Jiffy began her production career at BBDO NY producing integrated multimedia campaigns like the groundbreaking HBO Voyeur campaign, and working with brands like Havaianas, Ebay and Target. She left BBDO to join Radical Media’s Design and Digital group and there had the opportunity to produce and create websites, broadcast television commercials, show title sequences, apps, awareness campaigns and all kinds of stuff for Grey Goose, Tommy Hilfiger, NASA, TED, Viacom, and AMC (to name a few). She’s a big fan of doing cool things with awesome people and started Frank Collective to do just that.

  • media-upload

    Michael Wasilewski

    Co-Founder, Creative Director

Michael is a Brooklyn based multi-media art director, designer, and illustrator with experience at some of New York’s top creative agencies, including Pentagram Design, Radical Media, and most recently The Daily – the first ever iPad daily news publication. An experienced interactive, animation, and print art director, Michael has worked with global brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Grey Goose, TED, AMC, OWN, Viacom, and NASA. His work has been published in the NY Times, Creativity magazine, SHOTS, and CMYK magazine as well as featured in the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum and was recently launched into space (seriously…space).

  • Mac_profile_01

    Mac Premo

    Co-Founder, Director / Animator

Mac Premo is used to wearing many hats – mostly because he has lots of them (both figuratively and literally). Thankfully he can pull both off. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in illustration and animation, he moved to New York and began directing commercials. He has initiated and participated in several major public art projects in Belfast, Northern Ireland as a member of OAR, a five-man collective of Belfast and Brooklyn – based artists. In addition to Belfast, his work has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and PS1 MOMA in Queens.

  • Meg_ryan_final

    Meg Ryan

    Executive Producer

As Print + Interactive Producer in Radical Media’s Design + Digital group, Meg produced photo shoots, websites, mobile apps, rich media digital ads and even some video. It was there that she became adept enough to assist designers with production design, and became a more efficient conduit for creative. In early 2011 Meg joined SapientNitro where she traveled all over the country producing photo shoots with notable photographers for clients such as Foot Locker, Dodge, Florida Tourism Board and Ram Trucks. Other past clients include Chrysler brands, Con Agra brands, Lens Crafters, Gagosian Gallery, Grey Goose, Tommy Hilfiger, and Vogue.

  • JJBioFinal

    JJ Loonam

    Producer

JJ started working at Frank Collective part-time in March of 2011 and almost two years later they still haven’t found a way to get rid of him. A thrill seeker with a soft spot for expensive looking shoelaces, he has lived in Brooklyn his whole life, with the exception of a brief stint at Bard College where he managed to earn a BA in Art History regardless of the fact that his senior thesis was about LOLCats. He has watched Frank Collective transform from a two-person team operating out of a rented cubicle into the fully-staffed studio it is today, but don’t ask him about it: he will talk your ear off.

  • frankcollective-jacob

    Jacob Gambino

    Senior Designer

Jacob is Frank’s amateur weatherman. When not tweeting about radar and pressure patterns (@weatherbyjake), you can find him digging for records (thousands), hiking extensively throughout the Northeast, playing and watching soccer (Liverpool, baby) and backpacking across the 7 continents (ok, well maybe not Antarctica). He graduated with a degree in New Media Publishing from RIT in 2006 and dove headfirst into all things digital. Oh, and he’s pretty good in Photoshop too.

  • Ben_BioPic

    Benjamin Gardner

    Designer

Ben, a graduate of SUNY Fredonia, began his graphic design career at White Bicycle Design in Buffalo, New York. There he worked on marketing materials for the prestigious Burchfield Penney Art Center along with other various cultural clients, like Righteous Babe Records for whom the White Bicycle team designed album packaging. Ben left White Bicycle to join the Martin Group to work on various campaigns for New Era Cap Co. including their recent Snap Back campaign before moving to Brooklyn and joining the Frank Collective. Ben is also a photographer and he is inspired by music along with his travels across the country.

  • Aisling Flynn

    Aisling Flynn

    Designer

Aisling started her career in her home country of Ireland at Zinc Design, Dublin. In 2011 she decamped to New York for a change of scenery. Prior to arriving at Frank Collective, Aisling worked at Pure+Applied, working on a variety of projects for clients such as New York Philharmonic, New York Public Library and Museum of the City of New York. Aisling holds a BA Honours in Visual Communications Design from IADT, Dublin. She has a penchant for flea-marketing, travelling and experiencing as much as possible.
