#ChallengeMe2016

We just got our minds blown at the eleventh annual National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (NYEC), hosted by the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). For those of you who don’t know, NFTE has worked with more than 700K kids in grades K-12 to prevent dropouts and improve academic performance for almost 30 years. All by inspiring kids through entrepreneurship. Last night, forty finalists from across the US competed in the NYEC, and each and every one was brilliant. The 1st place winners were two eighth grade girls who created the feminist coloring book, Girls Coloring for Change. The winners were incredible, and it was so inspiring that their victory felt contagious. We’re so glad we got to witness all the hard work these kids did, and can’t wait to see what they come up with in 2017!
